Recent years have seen a decline in the incidence of tuberculosis, but it remains relatively common in Korea. Primary tuberculosis of the parotid gland is rare and was first reported by De-Paoli in 1983. The ultimate diagnosis is made only by
microscopic examination.
We report one case of tuberculosis of the parotid gland that was diagnosed by pathologic examination and we review of the related literature.
